Write an opinion article maintaining 100% of the text’s originality:
Today, the concept of plagiarism is much discussed in the context of scientific articles and the use of artificial intelligence. However, if we reflect more deeply, we realize that a person who writes about already consolidated knowledge, even before AI, may be reproducing previously published ideas in a way that resembles plagiarism. Literature reviews, when devoid of innovation or subjective creativity, end up being seen as a form of repetition of what has already been written. This raises the question: what really is plagiarism?
Nowadays, individuals with a high level of scientific training, whose writing is based on established methods, articles and academic studies, may have their production mistakenly interpreted as plagiarism. This occurs because, when developing texts based on knowledge accumulated through rigorous studies, it is natural for them to reproduce terms, concepts and structures that are part of the scientific repertoire. Scientific writing often reflects the deep assimilation of this content, but not necessarily a deliberate copy. The real difference lies in the ability to bring an innovative element, a creative and subjective approach that goes beyond what has already been written. It is this creativity that transforms the repetition of ideas into an original contribution.
