Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Bruna. She was full of energy, very curious and loved to invent games. But there was one thing: Bruna didn’t always listen to her parents.
When her mother said:
“Bruna, don’t run around the house with wet socks!”
she ran.
When her father said:
“Bruna, put your toys away before going to bed!”
she pretended not to hear.
One day, Bruna saw a bird landing in the garden and ran after it. Her mother called:
“Bruna, watch out! The floor is slippery!”
But Bruna kept running…
And suddenly: she slipped! Poof!
She got a fright, scraped her knee, and even cried a little.
While she was in her father’s arms, she heard a very soft voice inside her heart:
“Bruna, parents don’t tell you things for nothing. They tell you things because they want to protect you.”
Bruna thought for a moment, looked at her parents and said in a soft voice:
“I’m sorry. I promise to listen more.”
Since then, Bruna started to pay more attention. She discovered that respecting those who care for us is like having an invisible shield that protects us every day.
And she grew up more confident, happier — and with a lot of love in her heart.
The end.
