“The Secret of Bug Village”

In the magical forest, there was a very lively village called the Village of the Little Bugs. There lived ants, bees, fireflies and even singing crickets!

One day, the little ant Fifi wanted to tell her friends that she had found a bunch of sweet crumbs near the big tree. But how could she tell them this without speaking like humans? Fifi had an idea: she started walking in a line and leaving a scent on the ground. It was a magical scent, called a pheromone, that only the other ants could smell. So, everyone followed the scent’s path and found the feast!

Meanwhile, the little bee Belle danced in the air, spinning from one side to the other. “What is she doing?” asked the cricket Guto. “She’s showing them where there are flowers with nectar!” replied the butterfly. “Bees dance to tell the way!”

And at night, the firefly Vico blinked his light. He wasn’t just glowing because he was pretty — he blinked in a special way to say, “Hi! I’m here!” to the other fireflies.

In Bug Village, no one spoke like us, but everyone understood each other very well; with smells, dances, lights and sounds. And so, even though they were tiny, they showed that friendship also shines when we learn to listen in different ways!
